Example of opening up a fireplace for a woodburner.

Here The Stove House removed the existing fireplace and increased the opening to the required dimensions to accommodate the new Broseley Ignite 5 multi-fuel stove. We rendered the inside of the recess and plaster finished the disturbed surfaces around the opening.  The new honed slate hearth slabs were installed along with a new terracotta chimney pot, flue liner and cowl. A closure plate was also fitted with a CO alarm & notice plate all to comply with HETAS and building regulation document \'J\'. Its all ready for the clients to decorate to their own personal taste. This type of transformation usually takes 2-3 days. PLEASE DO GET IN TOUCH IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS WITH THE INFORMATION IN THIS BLOG OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK A SURVEY TO ARRANGE A STOVE INSTALLATION.
